Capital Campaign gifts to the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center

Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated and help us restore this wonderful architectural gem to its former grandeur. All donations to the E.E. Bass Foundation are used for capital expenditures; none go toward operating costs of the building or any other type of expense. With each improvement made to the building, we are able to expand our offerings for the citizens of Greenville and Washington County, adding not only to the quality of life but also to cultural tourism and economic development. Gifts of $25,000 or more are eligible for naming opportunities. All previous gifts to the E.E. Bass Foundation or to the Delta Center Stage Capital Campaign can be combined to reach a naming opportunity gift level. Make checks payable to E.E. Bass Foundation or to Delta Center Stage Capital Campaign if you wish to specifically aid the south-end transformation of the old Greenville High School into the new DCS performance space.

E.E. Bass Column Society: Restore the Balustrade of Jake and Freda Stein Hall

The E.E. Bass Foundation announces a capital project to raise funds for the balustrade restoration on Jake and Fred Stein Hall. Time and weather has taken its toll on the decorative balustrade that lines the top of Jake and Freda Stein Hall. In order to return the building to its' original grandeur, the Bass Foundation has begun replacing this decorative piece; in order to complete this project we need your help.

Be among the first to purchase a commemorative column for yourself, your class year, a loved one, a friend, or someone who has been a significant influence in your life. The column will be placed above the Jake and Freda Stein Hall to replace the aging balustrade that was removed during the summer of 2010. Your donation will become a lasting tribute, paving the way for generations to come. Our goal is to raise over $100,000 to completely restore the balustrade. Each column can be purchased for $500.

To purchase a column, complete the Column Society Brochure and mail it to the E.E. Bass Foundation at 323 S. Main Street, Greenville, MS 38701. Please make check payable to the E.E. Bass Foundation. If you have any questions, please call the E.E. Bass Foundation at 662.332.2246. Columns will be recognized on a plaque in the foyer of the Jake and Freda Stein Hall.
