Where the Delta Travels: Photography Exhibit

Take a trip around the world, without leaving the Delta. This exhibit will feature a variety of local artists and photography from their travels reaching over five continents and a variety of international cities. Artwork will be available for purchase.

Juried 4th Biennial GAC Invitational

Friday, June 3- July 29, 2011
Open to all Mississippi or born in Mississippi artists. Works must have been done within the last two years. The Invitational is a juried show. One $1,000 Best of Show award purchase award. Two $500 purchase awards, Total prize money $2,500. Each artist must enclose a non-returnable entry fee of $35. Make checks payable the Greenville Arts Council. Delta Artists Association: 10th Annual Member Show

The Mississippi Delta is an area that is full of rich artistic talent. In 2000, a group of dedicated visual artists created the Delta Artists Association. In the last 10 years, the DAA has expanded to include more than 90 artists and the GAC host an annual juried exhibit of their work each fall.

This exhibit will feature the best in functional & decorative contemporary objects, fibers and jewelry. We will showcase local artists working in wood, clay, fiber, metal and glass.
